Synopsis

Within  the Finance major of the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) course
the  independent study unit will enable students to undertake specific
discipline  related  study  which  is  not  available  through   other
coursework units.

Within  this unit students will undertake specific discipline  related
study under the supervision of an assigned staff member. Students will
be  required to submit an outline of the proposed course of  study  to
the  Dean  for  approval, prior to being enrolled in  this  unit.  The
proposal must:

a)  identify  the  staff  member prepared to provide  supervision;  b)
include  a statement of the problem to be investigated and  a  set  of
objectives; c) include a reading list.
