Synopsis
Business people and their professional advisers often make decisions
on structuring, conducting and financing business which require an
understanding of property law. The growth in alternative business
structures such as franchising and licensing has also meant that
intellectual property is increasingly significant. This unit provides
a framework of the law as well as developing relevant areas in depth.
Emphasis is placed on the protection of proprietary interests in real
and personal property including intellectual property.
