Synopsis
This unit will identify and respond to health issues which have
recently been identified as important considerations for early
childhood education, Day Care Regulations, handling of infectious
diseases, injury prevention and meeting nutritional needs. It will
also focus on emerging issues such as AIDS education, abused children
and the development of protective behaviour programmes for young
children.
