Synopsis
This unit considers the reasons for curriculum change and the
relationship between syllabus documents, school-based curriculum
development and teachersO planning. The actual curriculum development
practices of teachers, the various approaches which could be adopted
by teachers in planning and evaluating curriculum, and the factors
influencing the plans developed by teachers and groups of teachers are
investigated.
