This is the fourth unit in which students develop concepts, skills and techniques through their involvement in one or more studio areas. Lectures, demonstrations and workshops in Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics, Sculpture and Textiles will be conducted each week. Drawing is an essential supportive element of this unit. Studio practice will be underpinned by the history and theory component of this course.
