Synopsis

The culturally eclectic nature of contemporary theatre demands
experiences and competencies in a variety of performance-related
movement and speech styles. Voice and body fitness are developed
through continuing training. Particular performance-related movement
and speech styles are introduced and performance projects explore
physically and vocally the world of fantasy and myth. Speech
characterisation is addressed through the study of dialects of English
and foreign accents. Classes in singing continue the development of
voice production and sung interpretation.
