This  unit  covers basic C programming techniques such  as:  Algorithm
design  and program development,.C programming under UNIX environment,
Input/Output,  Data  types  and arithmetic, Variables,  operators  and
control  flow,  looping, functions, recursive algorithms,  arrays  and
pointers. Also the unit includes an introduction to UNIX systems.  The
coverage takes advantage of the environment and utilities on UNIX.
