Synopsis


Engineers  designing and managing electrical power plant  need  to  be
familiar with the mathematical tools and the computer based techniques
which are commonly used to analyse, operate and monitor such systems.

The  unit  Energy  Automation,  deals with  principles  and  practical
aspects  of  electrical  energy  supply  systems  and  computer  aided
engineering support facilities. Some of the topics covered are : fault
level calculation, load flow, power system dynamics and SCADA.
