Synopsis

This  unit  will  identify  and respond to health  issues  which  have
recently  been  identified  as  important  considerations  for   early
education, including Day Care Regulations, infectious diseases, injury
prevention  and  nutritional needs. It will  also  focus  on  emerging
issues  such as AIDS education, abused children, immunisation and  the
development of protective behaviour programmes for such children.
