Synopsis

The unit will consider the theoretical bases of instructional software
design  and  examine the major design paradigms used in  instructional
software.  Students  will have opportunity to  compare  a  variety  of
examples  of  instructional  software. The processes  associated  with
design and development of computer- based instructional materials will
be  described and applied to project work. Examples of current  trends
in instructional software design will be examined.
