Pre-requisite: Completion of UNIPREP or equivalent.
This unit provides practice in the language skills expected in the corporate unit Communication and Scholarship. Topics and content remain centred on communication processes within academic and professional settings, with the needs of particular audiences in mind. Students develop sound use of a range of strategies to overcome typical communication barriers and to demonstrate higher level skills in written and oral English for academic and professional purposes.
