Synopsis

Within the Business Law offering in the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours)
course  the  independent study unit will enable students to  undertake
specific  law discipline related study which is not available  through
other coursework units.

Within this unit students will undertake a specific project under  the
supervision of an assigned staff member. Following discussion with the
proposed supervisor, students will be required to submit an outline of
the  proposed course of study to the Dean for approval, prior to being
enrolled in this unit. The proposal must:

a)  identify  the  staff  member prepared to provide  supervision;  b)
include  a  statement  of the area to be investigated  and  a  set  of
objectives; c) include a reading list.
