Synopsis

This  unit  explores  the  changing  nature  and  role  of  management
accounting. Firstly, it focuses on management accounting  in  the  new
environment and draws comparisons with historical approaches. The unit
then  explores  and  reviews  the  literature  on  organisational  and
behavioural issues in the planning and control of organisations.
