Synopsis
Leadership is a major challenge for those in management positions.
This unit provides students with two opportunities. The first is to
bring together and understand the body of literature on the nature of
both leadership and management. The second opportunity is for students
to address three contemporary challenges that they will face in a
leadership and management role within their own organisational
experience. Students therefore will have the capacity to generate
their own understanding of the nature of leadership and management,
and to apply that understanding in their own work and social
environment.
