Synopsis

Modules  1  and  2  cover  the  topics of complex  analysis  including
conformal  mapping and contour integration, with Cauchy's  Theorem  of
Residues.   Applications  to  problems  of  applied  mathematics   and
engineering  are also covered. Module 3 contains a short  introduction
to  the  language  and techniques of real analysis.  Module  4  covers
aspects of the theory of finite groups.
