Synopsis

In mechatronics, mechanical, electrical and computing elements are
combined to form an integrated whole. This unit includes elements of
advanced dynamics and the devising and testing of mechanisms. This is
complemented by experiments in rotating machine and in the design of
power electronics to drive them. Digital controllers for embedding in
mechatronic systems will certainly require the use of assembly
language and interrupt structures, while control theory is necessary
for analysis and design of the entire closed-loop system. This unit
will round off the formation of a mechatronics engineer.
