Synopsis

The unit explores the nature of the arts as individual disciplines  as
well  as  examining  them  in the light of total  integration  in  the
curriculum.  It incorporates visual arts, music, drama, story  telling
and  story  making. The theme of creativity and multiple  intelligence
flows  throughout  the unit. Students will also be introduced  to  the
historical changes that have occurred over the years in the approaches
to the arts in early childhood education.
