Synopsis

This  unit extends the work done in the foundation communication  unit
to  provide  an  increased understanding of the theoretical  bases  of
written and oral communication. The unit builds on a theoretical basis
of   written  and  oral  communication  to  develop  the  ability   to
communicate  effectively  throughout  a  range  of  written  and  oral
communicative acts within a variety of professional contexts.
