Synopsis

The visual research methods within this unit will involve a literature
search, the refinement of the candidate's topic and identification  of
appropriate  methodologies  to  be  undertaken.  It  will  include   a
comprehensive review of relevant secondary sources, and where possible
primary  sources, and the preparation of a well developed  preliminary
body of work.
