Synopsis

The  aim  of  this unit is to provide an understanding of  how  modern
electronic-based  technologies can be harnessed to  enable  even  very
small business operation to successfully compete, survive and, as very
often  desired,  grow substantially larger. The unit  covers:  systems
concepts,  systems  components,  and methods  of  information  systems
development; better business processes, innovation through technology,
and better use of information potentially available.
