Synopsis

This  unit  looks  in  detail  at the art of  negotiation,  the  legal
principles  and  relevant Australian Government policy  applicable  to
contracting  for capital projects involving Australian and/or  foreign
principals  and  the  management of contract terms.  It  will  include
variation  to  the  contract during its performance  as  well  as  the
avenues  for  settlement of inter-party disputes arising  out  of  the
contractual relationship.
