Synopsis


This  course  will  cover such topics as natural  products,  medicinal
chemistry  and  the  role of transition metals in biological  systems.
Each  topic  is  viewed from a chemical perspective and involves  such
concepts  as mechanisms, structural elucidation and structure activity
relationships. A laboratory component has been designed to  compliment
the theoretical aspects of the course.
