Synopsis

This  unit  is  an  indepth  study of the growth  and  development  of
children  between  the  ages  of  0-8  years.  Students  will  acquire
competent  observation  skills through guided  observation  activities
working  with children aged 0-8 years. There will be a strong emphasis
on  the physical, cognitive and social- emotional development of young
children.
