Synopsis

This  course  will  introduce graduate students  to  the  theories  of
language  development  and  their relationship  to  the  current  P-10
English Language Arts Syllabus. The course will examine the principles
behind  the  whole language and genre based approaches. Students  will
study   methods  of  planning,  teaching  strategies  and   evaluation
techniques for the development of language and literacy.
