Lectures, demonstrations and workshops in Curatorial Studies, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics, Sculpture and Textiles will be conducted each week. Studio practice will be underpinned by the history and theory component of this course.
On successful completion of this unit students will have
demonstrated a sufficiently high level of technical,
conceptual and theoretical maturity and self expression in
their chosen discipline(s) to be able to confidently enter the
final practical units of the course.
Reference materials are materials that, if accessed by students, may improve their knowledge and understanding of the material in the unit and enrich their learning experience.
To be advised by the Lecturer in each area.
