This unit is a continuation of studies in technical production areas of theatre for those students who wish to pursue a career in the live entertainment industry. It provides advanced study, training and experience of the Deputy Stage Manager/Theatre Practitioner including the development of the physical stage and aspects in mounting a production. Special attention will be paid to the development of a professional work method approach.

1 In order to meet unit objectives, students will be required to
attend no less than 80% of the classes held and the missing of
more than two consecutive classes through illness will require
the production of a doctor's certificate.
2 Assessment is continuous.
3 Students are expected at all times to be prepared for work and co-
operative. Time management and organisational skills are
particularly valued.
4 Students must satisfactorily pass ALL assessment items.
5 The final grade will be based on the total for all assessment
items and will be assigned in accord with Faculty guidelines.
