Synopsis

Teachers not only need theory about second language learning but also
need to know how this theory has been translated successfully into
practice in the classroom. This course, in essence, tries to link the
theory and practice together. The course includes the teaching of the
four macroskills: listening, reading, speaking and writing from a
learner-centred perspective of objectives. It also looks at situating
the teaching of vocabulary and grammar into a balanced program.
