Synopsis

The nervous, endocrine, reproductive, cardiovascular, respiratory and
renal systems of animals are introduced. This is followed by a study
of plant reproductive processes and secondary tissue formation and an
overview of plant physiology. We next examine the concepts of cell
reproduction, Mendelian genetics and the formation of proteins from
genes. Finally, we explore evolution - the process by which organisms
change over time. A four day residential school is a compulsory part
of the course.
