Synopsis

This  unit will provide background skills and knowledge necessary  for
analyzing  the major types of hazards found in the Australian  working
environment.  Topics  include the biological, physical,  chemical  and
psychological  stressors  in  the workplace  including  noise  induced
hearing loss, ionising radiation, lighting and the protection of eyes.
It  includes hazard detection, monitoring techniques, control measures
and relevant legislation and standards.
