Synopsis

The  unit  will consider the theoretical bases of educational software
design  and  examine  the major design paradigms used  in  educational
software.  Students  will have opportunity to  compare  a  variety  of
examples of educational software. The processes associated with design
and  development  of  computer- based educational  materials  will  be
described  and applied to project work. Examples of current trends  in
educational software design will be examined.
