Synopsis

This  unit investigates the personal needs of people and the attitudes
of  our culture, and that of others, toward artistic experiences which
promise  to  satisfy those needs. The content covered will  deal  with
mark making and musical repertoires as modes of transmitting realms of
meaning  in  the  non-verbal  sense.  Students  will  be  required  to
investigate and appraise various types of musical and artistic works.
