Synopsis

Within   a   framework  of  theories  of  human  learning  and   adult
development, this unit will focus on the characteristics and  learning
needs  of  adult learners. In this unit the students will  develop  an
understanding of the learning characteristics of mature learners  with
particular   emphasis  on  identifying  the  implications   of   these
characteristics for curriculum design and instructional strategies  at
the post-compulsory level.
