Overview: The course E1004 Job Organisation
is offered in the Bachelor of Technology and Associate Degree in Civil Engineering
programs in the Faculty of Engineering and Surveying at the University of
Southern Queensland. The main campus of the USQ is in Toowoomba, Queensland,
Australia. The unit is offered by full time on-campus study and by distance
education. Both full time and external students use the distance education
Study Books as the text for the unit. In addition the Australian Standard
AS 4000 General Conditions of Contract is used as a text. All students undertake
the same assessment scheme.

Prerequisites: This course has no formal
prerequisites. However, as the course occurs in the latter half of the Bachelor
of Technology and Associate Degree in Civil Engineering programs it is assumed
that students undertaking the course will have a basic understanding of the
types of work undertaken in civil engineering, and of the materials, plant
and processes used in construction.
