Left: Sandblasting Surface Preparation Guide.
This chart gives a guide to the various types of surface finishes produced with different grades of grit. Note: Although the surface preparation process is referred to as "sand blasting" or "grit blasting", it actually uses steel shot as the abrasive agent. This is fired at the steel work using compressed air. |
