  Whats New

I scratch build and fly model aircraft both glow and electric. I fly at a local club, T.A.R.M.A.C in Toowoomba, Queensland Australia, it's about 12km from home. We have about 40 members and 20 active fliers across all disciplines of RC. I fly pylon, fun fly and sport with electric and glow aircraft. Their are a few electric fliers in our club and they mainly fly electric glider. I have sport and competition gliders, sport planes, speed 400 pylon and a TaylorCraft (sort of scale) large electric.
I design and build to a budget. Every plane is designed to make the most of the balsa with the minimum amount of waste. Wings are built to the standard lengths of material available, 900mm 1200mm etc. or combinations of both. I use super glue and BondCrete, a waterproof  PVA type of glue, and sometimes 5min epoxy.
I made these pages to show the types things I like to see on other Web sights. I have lots of pics and some movies. I have a few details about each aircraft, and some thoughts about their design and building.
This is a weekend flier and scratch builders site, no scale models here. I'm not expounding any great building techniques, it's for those who enjoy RC modelling, in all it's forms.

I keep updating these pages regularly.

Have a look at the 52nd Australian RC Nationals.        Check out a great desktop pic
