I've always loved the look of the LazyBee so it was just a matter of time before I built one. I finally found a set of plans and decided to build a Speed400 geared version.

LBee01.jpg (17609 bytes) I changed slightly from the all stick fuse and used 1/16th sheet,  just to speed up the building.

This was the first time I've used Profilm lite and I was very impressed. It is light, easy to work with and strengthened the wing up considerably.

My standard servo mount, triangle stock on the fuse sides and 1/4 *1/8 spruce rails. I had two spare HS101s, they have plenty of power to do the job. LBee02.jpg (18518 bytes)
LBee03.jpg (22268 bytes) I used a Velcro strap and a balsa stop keep the battery in place. This is a 500AR 7cell pack, I also use a 1000mha pack for 10 min flights.
I left the windscreen open for more cooling air. The motor in this mount gets lots of air as well. LBee04.jpg (20186 bytes)
