Visited the Escher museum in Den Haag (http://www.escherinhetpaleis.nl) in 2010. Well worth the effort, and it is great to see the family memorabilia. Many of his artworks are on display, but in some ways they are just as good when viewing them from a book, as you don't have to fight with crowds or reflective lighting to see the detail, but the interactive displays & his family snapshots were the highlight for me.
