How to use this online course

This online course is designed to help you through the nuts and bolts of your Honours or Masters dissertation. There are seven modules in the course, each relating to a separate aspect of researching and writing a dissertation. All modules have a similar structure, and are colour coded, with a different colour for each module (for example, Module 1 is yellow):

• Introductory video
• Explanatory material
• Interactive exercises (individual supervisor feedback)
• Self-marking module quiz
• Facility to email your supervisor for help
• Group discussion with fellow students

You should aim to complete all the components of each module, before moving on to the next one.

Please note that not all modules are functional at this time, but one of each component in Module 1 is ready for user testing and comments.
