Personal Information

Dr Michael Lane has a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Southern Queensland. His current research and teaching interests are in the strategic management of ICT and include sustainable business enabled by ICT, IS leadership, and the leveraging of ICT services and technologies (IT outsourcing, Information security management, mobile computing) to enable business strategy and goals. He has published widely in a number of international journals and conferences. He also works closely with industry to ensure his research and teaching is current and relevant to the opportunities and challenges facing organisations and the ICT industry in today’s business environment.
