I'm a plant ecologist and teach into courses in Sustainable Resource Use and Biodiversity & Conservation, as well as Environmental Studies, Plant Diversity, and Biology. My research interests include: biodiversity in agro-ecosystems; vegetation-environment relationships; habitat assessment; and plant-fire interactions.

I'm Head of the Department of Economics & Resource Management, Faculty of Business and course leader for Political Theory, Economics 1 and Environmental Politics & Policy. My research interests include: rural policy trends, rural adjustment and economic value of farm trees, economics and politics of land care and rural-based political theory.
