My teaching is mainly in the areas of identity and
culture, socio-cultural contexts of education, organisational change,
professional learning and leadership.

Doctor of Education: Advanced Studies in Professional Practice; Advanced Studies in Specialisation; Supervisor and Associate Supervisor.
Research interests include school change and development, professional
learning community, school
leadership (including schools leading community change in the context of
high levels of disadvantage) and teacher leadership.

I am a member of several professional associations and, with
Dorothy Andrews, am co-editor of Leading and Managing, the journal of the
Australian Council of Educational Leaders. I am also a member of the ACEL
Darling Downs regional convenors group.
