My current roles are as follows:

1. Associate Professor in Department of Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba, Australia.
2. Undergraduate Coordinator in Department of Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland and
3. Director of the Community and Organisational Research Unit.

My PhD students to date include:

1. Dr. Nancey Hoare (awarded 2007). Nancey's topic was Psychological factors influencing job-search behaviour and employment outcomes in the unemployed.

2. Richard Burns (currently enrolled). Richard's topic is
The relationship between workplace climate, psychological well-being, and subjective well-being.

My significant publications include:

1. Creed. P. A., Muller, J., & Machin, M. A. (2001). The role of satisfaction with occupational status, neuroticism, financial strain and categories of experience in predicting mental health in the unemployed. and Individual Differences, 30, 435-447. It has received 21 citations in Google Scholar.
