Current projects

Current Honours projects include:

1. Using
the Demand-Control-Support (D-C-S) Model to Predict Affective Wellbeing. The theoretical framework is provided by the demands-control-support (D-C-S) model that links these work characteristics with employee health and well-being. The main purpose is to examine the mediating role of positive and negative affect in predicting depression and to assess the magnitude of these effects. The survey is available online at https://psych.sci.usq.edu.au/ols/surveys/jss2008

2. Coping strategies of Australian drivers as predictors of attitude toward speeding, risk taking, and traffic offences. The questionnaire has been developed and includes several sections such as a set of demographic questions, the Driver Coping Questionnaire, the Driver Stress Inventory, measures of risk perceptions, driving behaviour and traffic offences. The survey is available online at
https://psych.sci.usq.edu.au/ols/surveys/datt2008
