I am an Electrical Engineer educated
at the Queensland University of Technology,
with 5+ years experience with the power industry; 2+ years in private enterprise
and over 16years experience as a lecturer here at the University
of Southern Queensland.

Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
with 1st class Honours from QIT (now QUT).
I am currently lecturing for
the Faculty
of Engineering & Surveying where -

portfolio includes mostly units in the Computer Engineering field.

My responsibilities extend to the production
of external study materials for the DEC.

I am the project leadet for "The
Robot Bilby Competition" , a robotics competition for high school students.

The Queensland Electricity Commision
- now known as Powerlink Queensland, where I was Assistant Electronics
Workshop Engineer responsible for design and commissioning of electronic
and micro-computer based equipment in support of the power transmission
system.

Energy Control International - a small
privately owned company specialising in computer hardware component supply,
where I was Senior Design Engineer responsible for the design and production
of micro-computer equipment for OEMs.
