I
didn’t answer other, but I find that I learn better and more efficiently
from just printed materials because being on the computer can be so distracting
to what you are actually suppose to be doing. And if the computer breaks
down or you have a storm or something, you can’t do anything about it.

& Q14 - I would prefer to have the basic study books and other items
deemed necessary supplied by the USQ at no further charge than what I am
already paying.

plus supply of print material. Because
I am paying for the course I expect course materials to be provided by the
university in an appropriate format. I
do not appreciate the additional cost to me as an end user in having to
print my own. If selected readings were also included on CD I would expect
that print based materials would also be provided.

study book with audio CD which further explains the material included in
study book - I am enjoying this combination (i.e. as per FET4220).

I
believe that the study material should come out in the standard printed
study materials with the CD being referred to for presentations. I work
all day on a computer and I found it very hard to come home and do study
(not assignments) on the computer as well. In my opinion, the CD appears
to be a cost-cutting exercise for the university as (I believe) it is cheaper
to create CD's rather than the printed materials. So why should we, the
student, be forced to pay for the printed version when we already pay so
much to do the subject.
