Ralph Weppner painted a range of sketches using oil, crayons, coloured pencils, coloured chalk and watercolour during his time in Papua New Guinea.

Ralph painted landscapes of the areas he served in during the Second World War in New Guinea. The scenes depict the beauty and hardships of everyday life.
