Heidi and Rebecca are showing excellent art skills and have both received art awards in 2004 for their assignments at high school.

3D Art
This is the three dimensional art works section and will display all the 3D art as it is produced.

This is a monster created with paper mache by Heidi in grade 10 and it won the grade 9 and 10 three dimensional art award.  Heidi has nicknamed her monster Golina.
Face Mask Jigsaw puzzle of life
A mask made by Heidi in Grade 10.  The mask was made to represent the different parts of our life.  The missing puzzle piece symbolizes the mystery and the unknown.  Heidi painted only one eye to show that sometimes we don't always see the whole picture.

Heidi and Rebecca are both following in their Great Grandfather's footsteps and enjoy the art of painting.

The Log Cabin
This was an art landscape assignment painted by Heidi in grade 9, from a calendar picture.

This artwork won Rebecca's school's 2004 art award.  In this hard edge painting , the artist used five tones of green.

 

Falling Star painting Falling Star
An abstract by Heidi made in Grade 10.  This paint shows the two different sides of the singer Brittany Spears.  The left hand side shows happiness and innocence.  Where the opposite side shows the pain, lack of privacy, tears and stress.  It is suppose to show that fame isn't always everything.
Japan painting Japan
A combined painting and Origami by Heidi in Grade 9 art.  This painting was designed to go with a room that Heidi renovated as an assignment.  The colours were an usual combination but they ended up working.

Pottery
Heidi and Rebecca have shown am interest in making pottery objects since a very early age. The next stage of pottery creation has occurred after attending their first pottery classes late in 2004. The young teenagers have produced some very interesting pieces and now they intended to become members of the local pottery club to experiment further.

This was made by Heidi in primary school during her art classes, with pieces cut from a slab of clay.

Flowers were added to create a beautiful finishing touch.

Small coils were used to create a tree.

Handmade gum leaves and gum nuts were made to make the pottery more interesting.

Heidi created the design for the beadwork.  Both the girls and Lyndall have enjoyed creating all the different beadwork.
