Research

Research Interests:

My major research interests lie in communications and information theory, image and video signal processing, and error-correcting coding with emphasis on the following topics:

  1. Cooperative source-channel coding for wireless networks
  2. Rateless coding (Fountain codes) for error-resilient video transmission
  3. Multi-user MIMO and OFDM systems
  4. Cooperative wireless communications and network coding
  5. Wireless video sensor networks
  6. 3-D video signal processing and transmission over wireless networks
  7. e-Healthcare solutions using advanced ICT technology
