USQ Strategic Plan

USQ Strategic Plan 2009-2013 was approved by USQ Council in December 2008.

USQ has an extensive suite of policies that govern all aspects of our operations. 

Planning, Quality and Review Framework

USQ has a comprehensive framework in place ensuring effective planning, review and quality management

National Quality Audit

The Australian Universities' Quality Agency (AUQA) periodically performs quality audits on all Australian universities. USQ has had successful audits in 2002 and 2009. 

Annual Report

The USQ Annual Report provides a comprehensive review of USQ's performance each year and identifies future activities. 

Annual Reporting to Government

Prior to 2010, all universities reported annually to government against a range of performance indicators as part of the Institutional Assessment Framework (IAF) (PDF *617 KB) administered by the Department of Employment, Education and Workplace Relations. USQ's IAF Performance Portfolio provides an overview of USQ's Performance against this range of indicators.

University Compact

Government reforms commenced in 2009 has seen the introduction of mission-based compacts between government and universities. An Interim Agreement (PDF* 527KB) was negotiated between USQ and the Australian government in 2009 for 2010.

Higher Education Base Funding

This is the USQ response to the Consultation Paper for the Review of Higher Education Base Funding (PDF* 152KB) released in December 2011.
