RoleProfessor Graham Baker became Deputy Vice Chancellor (Scholarship) of the University of Southern Queensland in 2005 following his appointment as the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research) and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Surveying 2001-2005. BackgroundGraham received a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from the University of Queensland, a Masters of Science from the University of London and his PHD from Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom. Graham has over 22 years experience in the higher education sector. Graham’s research interests are in the areas of computational mechanics of materials and structures, structural concrete and thermodynamics in solid mechanics.
